TOWN
MAYOR
From
the nest of Mayor Eagles
Welcome to Rolesville, the smallest but one of the fastest
growing towns in Wake County which is one of the fastest
growing counties in the USA. With Raleigh growing from
the south of Rolesville and Wake Forest growing to the
west of Rolesville, we still strive to be a community
oriented town.
New
comers will immediately find, even though small, we offer
all the amenities of a larger town. A large multi-use
park adjoins one of the elementary the schools, a new
centrally located Main Street Park [for passive recreation
and relaxation], two large elementary schools, and the
County’s number one EMS, Fire Department and Town’s
own large Police Department. Along with Raleigh furnished
water and sewer, Rolesville offers regularly scheduled
weekly garbage and recycle pickup, bi-monthly yard waste
pickup and [during the season] curb side leaf pickup.
Our recreation programs include organized teams for baseball,
softball, basketball, football, soccer, and cheerleading.
Our future plans include a large community center located
on the Main Street Park property with access off of Young
Street.
Our
Town is growing rapidly due to its quality of life, closeness
to I 540, just 5 miles from the fast growing popular north
campus of Wake Technical Community College, as well as
such commercial centers as Triangle Town Center. With
a large number of residences approved for future occupancy,
Rolesville still insists on quality of development. This
quality will reflect increase in future value to home
owners as well as making them proud to say they live in
Rolesville. Our growth is bringing new restaurants, pharmacies,
doctors and other needed facilities.
Come
and be a part of Rolesville. Volunteerism has always been
a big part of the Rolesville Town and Community. You will
find that Rolesville is not just a Town but a great Community
with friendship and cooperative fellowship that spans
outside the Town limits.
My
office hours are your hours. I will be available at my
office [I have an office within Town Hall and will be
there a lot], by phone or in person [on the street, in
the stores or wherever] when you need me. If not in person,
I will be available by email or phone. All who know me,
know that conversation is welcome.
