Chief
Tim Stoker assumed the position of the Chief of Police for
the Rolesville Police Department on September 7, 2005. In
this position, Chief Stoker is in command of a fast growing
department with an anticipation of major departmental growth
over the next several years due to the booming growth of
the town.
Chief Stoker
is a native of Lenoir, North Carolina and is a third generation
law enforcement officer. He began his career as a patrol
officer at the Lenoir Police Department working his way
through the ranks as a Sergeant, Detective, Caldwell County
Crime Stopper Coordinator, and Lieutenant/Platoon Commander
over a period of 16 years. Chief Stoker left the Lenoir
Police Department and assumed the position of the Chief
of Police for Chadbourn, North Carolina in July of 2003.
Chief Stoker is a 1986 graduate of Caldwell Community College
in Hudson, North Carolina with an Associates in Applied
Science degree in Technical Design / Management. He is also
a 2001 graduate from Lees-McRae College in Banner Elk, North
Carolina with a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice.
Chief Stoker has attended numerous police management schools
and has over 3,000 hours of varied law enforcement training
during his career.
Chief Stoker has been a North Carolina certified law enforcement
instructor since 1991, a current member of the International
Association of Chiefs of Police, North Carolina Association
of Chiefs of Police, North Carolina Police Executives Association,
Blue Knights International Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club,
and past President of the North Carolina Crime Stoppers
Association.
Chief Stoker and his wife, Darlene, and children, Sarah
and Lily, reside in the Rolesville area.
